From left to right; Finn. Jake, BMO, Ice King, Princess Bubblegum, Marceline, Lumpy Space Princess and Lady Rainicorn.
Finn is a human and the main protagonist of the show. Finn appears to have been abandoned in the woods during infancy and is rescued by Jake's parents.
Jake is a magical dog who can stretch his whole body like crazy and is Finn's companion, best friend and adoptive brother.
BMO is Finn and Jake's living video game console, portable electrical outlet, music player, roommate, camera, alarm clock, flashlight, strobe light, skate border, soccer player, video editor, video player and friend.
Ice King is Adventure Time's main antagonist. His typical misdeed is to kidnap a princess and force her to marry him, which Finn and Jake foil every time.
Princess Bubblegum is the benevolent ruler of the Candy Kingdom. She is also Finn's former crush and Ice King's most often-targeted princess.
Marceline is a vampire that is over a millennium old. Though initially an enemy to Finn and Jake, she eventually became of their closest friends.
Lumpy Space Princess or LSP is the princess of Lumpy Space. She is the second most recurring princess after Princess Bubblegum.
Lady Rainicorn is a rainicorn and one of Princess Bubblegum's loyal steeds, best friend and companion. She is also Jake's girlfriend.
